NORTHERN LUZON, VILLAGES OF ABRA, BUTBUT, IRAM

I went up to Abra and Butbut in the remote areas of the highlands to share the word of God to the youth at Butbut. I also provided support to the church for labourers and building improvements.

“Because of the church building we can have bible studies, sunday school, youth programmes, community education, dedications and discipleship times to help others be more equipped and effective in sharing the Gospel to reach out the unreached people, particular to their co-tribes.

We, praise GOD for His continuous blessings to the church that He started. And we thank you kuya Tosh for your willingness to serve the LORD in terms of helping other people as the channel of His blessings.”

LUZON, BATAAN PROVINCE, SAN PABLO

PURPOSE
Upgrade and paint the interior of the main auditorium, repaint the interior and exterior of the male students dormitory house, install new teaching hall window joinery, entrance doors, ceiling and electrical, build new roof to an exterior kitchen and paint the interior and exterior walls of the School Chapel. We also repainted the interior of the church at Iram and participated in their Sunday services.

We travelled 120 km northwest to the Aeta Tribe in the isolated bush village of Lupang Pangako (approx. 1000 villagers). We were privileged to sing and minister to the villagers, especially the children and assist the pastors to feed the children.

We also witnessed with great pleasure the graduation ceremony of eight students who had progressed successfully through different stages of their missionary training. These students will be appointed to different tribes or villages, perhaps even in different countries, to bring the Gospel and its healing power to those peoples.

“We really experienced hard rains with almost three weeks and it’s hard for us to cross on rivers; we need to hike again on mountain to buy food. The retaining wall along the river to protect the road going to the highway project of ROC and other donors did not collapse so it is a big help for us.”
